Droits sur votre compte et vos données
Last updated / Mise à jour : August 2026
1. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of your personal data
- Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data
- Portability — receive your data in a portable format where applicable
- Restriction — limit how we process your data in certain circumstances
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Withdraw consent — where processing is based on your consent
- Lodge a complaint — with your supervisory authority (e.g. CNIL for France, CNDP for Morocco)
2. How to make a request
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at:
Include the email address associated with your Bodkas account and a description of your request. We aim to respond within 30 days. Verification of your identity may be required before we can process the request.
3. Account and data deletion
When you request deletion of your Bodkas account:
- Your learner profile(s) and learning progress will be deleted
- For Family accounts: all associated learner profiles will be deleted
- Payment records may be retained as required by applicable accounting law
- Security logs may be retained for a limited period
- Deletion is irreversible — your learning progress cannot be recovered
A 30-day recovery window may apply after a deletion request, during which you can cancel the deletion. After that window, the deletion is permanent.
4. Subscription cancellation vs account deletion
These are two separate actions:
- Cancellation — stops future charges, access remains until end of paid period, account and progress are retained
- Deletion — removes your account and associated data permanently
Cancelling your subscription does not delete your account. You can return and resubscribe at any time within the 30-day recovery window.
5. Data export
You may request an export of your learning progress in machine-readable format. Contact us at [email protected].
