Family & Learner Privacy

This notice explains how Bodkas handles learner profiles and learning progress when a Family account is used. The number of learner profiles available depends on the active product rules and should not be inferred from this legal draft.

The current learner-profile model is designed to use limited information needed for learning and account administration. It may include:

• A server-side profile identifier
• A nickname or display name chosen by the account owner
• An avatar or emoji reference
• Learning progress and review state
• Product-access state
• Technical information required for security and service operation

A learner profile does not currently require its own personal email address, phone number, school name, home address or real photograph.

Family administration is account-scoped. The account owner may manage learner profiles and view Family progress information according to the product permissions available to that account.

A Family code is an identifier, not sufficient proof of ownership or administrative authority. Protected Family operations require authenticated account ownership and, where configured, the current Family PIN.

The Family dashboard may show learning summaries such as:

• Recent learning activity
• Review and retention summaries
• Languages or subject areas studied
• Progress indicators for learner profiles

The exact fields shown may change as the product evolves.

Bodkas may introduce Family-related notifications or progress emails where those functions are actually enabled. This draft does not state that a recurring Family email is currently active, nor does it define its frequency.

Learner progress is collected to provide the learning service and account-management functions. Any future use for advertising, profiling or unrelated commercial purposes would require a separate privacy, legal, security and consent review.

Depending on applicable law and verified account ownership, the account owner may request access, correction or deletion relating to the Family account and associated learner profiles.
